Dr Pirotte
Dr Pirotte graduated from Kansas State University with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. Upon graduation Dr Pirotte moved to Henderson, NV where he accepted a position at Black Mountain Animal Hospital. During his time in Nevada Dr Pirotte had the honor of being mentored by Dr Bojrab and Dr Hoefle, who are both highly respected veterinary surgeons. The exposure he had to their referral surgeries cultivated his interest in orthopedic procedures, prompting his attendance of a course at Ohio State University on bone plating and orthopedic surgical procedures.
He opened KC ANIMAL HOSPITAL with the vision of providing excellent medical care to his clients; becoming a part of their lives and watching their families grow. He has made a commitment to continue his education, by attending conferences and seminars and has set a policy that all of his staff must attend continuing education seminars as well. Dr Pirotte says that some of the most unusual animals he has treated were Wayne Newton's penguins. He and his family have 4 dogs, 3 cats, 1 cockatiel, horses, chickens and a falcon.
