Stefanie, CVT

Stefanie, our Hospital Manager, moved from Illinois to Phoenix in 2006. She joined our team after working for two years with a board-certified feline specialist. Beside her fondness for our feline patients, Stefanie enjoys nursing care, surgical assisting, and dentistry of both cats and dogs. Stefanie sat for the state and national board exams to become a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2010. Stefanie works hard to provide not only excellent veterinary care, but the service and attention that she would want for herself and her own pets. She provides an open door policy, inviting our clients to feel comfortable approaching her with any questions or concerns they may have. Stefanie and her husband Christopher had their first son in 2008, and the three of them share their home with a mixed breed named Kiera, an Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix named Dodger, and 3 cats Bobby, Binky, and Lita.

Leslie, CVT

Leslie joined the KC Animal Hospital family in 2007. She comes to us with over 20 years experience in both technician and receptionist positions. Leslie sat for the state and national board exams to become a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2010. She has a strong desire to provide superior client service, and to get to know each of our clients and their pets on a personal level. It is important to her that clients are treated with respect and that our patients receive the finest care possible. Leslie and her family share their home with cats Bubbas, Honey, Little Louie, and Booney; dogs Moochie, Sedona, Krokus, and Payson; bunny, Quigley; and cares for the feral cat colony.

Kristin, CVT

Kristin graduated from Kaplan College in 2010 with an Associate?s degree in Veterinary Technology. She joined the KC Animal Hospital family in September 2010. She completed two externships at the Emergency Animal Clinic in Phoenix both during and after her education. She sat for the state and national board exams to become a Certified Veterinary Technician in August 2011 . She works hard every day to apply her education to her daily experience here at KC Animal Hospital. The areas of our practice she enjoys most are dentistry, surgical assisting, and exotic animal medicine. She shares her home with one dog; Loxley, a Pomeranian.

Tanya, CVT

Tanya came to KC in January of 2011. With 9 years experience, Tanya provides our staff with professionalism, experience, and positivity. She sat for the state and national board exams to become a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2010. Her expertise started with on-the-job training, making her dedicated work an educational experience. Her knowledge and skill comes from being observant and attentive. She excels at nursing care, with an aptitude for sensing the needs of our patients. Hospitalized patients receive thorough monitoring from Tanya on a daily basis. She shares her home with two Australian Shepherds; Autumn and Charlie. She is pictured with our office cat, Norman.

Becky

Becky arrived at KCAH in August 2011. She comes to us with 3 years experience and her practical experience is an asset to our patients' care. Becky excels at owner education, and we appreciate her ability to communicate the importance of the doctors' recommendations to our clients. She is also experienced in anesthesia and nursing care. She aspires to complete a veterinary technology program and obtain the status of Certified Veterinary Technician. Becky shares her home with a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, named Nina.

Courtney

Courtney joined KCAH in June 2011, starting her training as a Veterinary Assistant. She is presently attending ASU in a pre-vet program. She has an incredible willingness to learn and contributes a great deal to the medical services we provide. Whenever possible, she also assists in our Pet Resort department to increase her contact time with our patients. We are thrilled to have her on staff during her school breaks. When not away, Courtney and her family share their home with a Spaniel Mix named Oscar, and a Brittany Spaniel named Jessie.
